A smooth and creamy frosting with a unique sweetness from honey, perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup pure honey
  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • 12 tablespoons milk (if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened butter until creamy.
  2. Add the honey gradually and mix until well combined.
  3. Slowly add the powdered sugar, one cup at a time, mixing on low speed until incorporated.
  4. If the frosting is too thick, add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Optionally, stir in the vanilla extract for added flavor.
  6. Continue to beat at high speed for a few minutes until the frosting is light and fluffy.
  7. Use the frosting to decorate cakes or cupcakes as desired.

Notes

Ensure butter is at room temperature for easy mixing and use pure honey for the best flavor.
