Honey Garlic Meatballs are a delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix the meatball ingredients in a bowl until well combined and form into small meatballs.
  2. Sauté the meatballs in a skillet over medium heat until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the honey garlic sauce in a separate saucepan by mixing honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil. Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Coat the cooked meatballs with the honey garlic sauce, letting them soak up the flavor for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot on a platter.

Notes

These meatballs are perfect over rice or alongside a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
