A delightful dish blending sweet honey and savory garlic, creating crispy tofu cubes in a sticky sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and cornstarch.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the tofu cubes and cook until golden brown on all sides.
  5. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the tofu and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring the tofu is coated well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Serve over rice or with sautéed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
