Crispy Brussels sprouts drizzled with hot honey and combined with bacon for a delightful sweet and savory side dish.

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl.
  3. Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts and chopped bacon on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  5. Drizzle the crispy sprouts and bacon with hot honey once out of the oven.
  6. Return the tray to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize the honey.
  7. Serve and enjoy, garnished with extra hot honey if desired!

Notes

For a vegetarian option, consider using smoked mushrooms instead of bacon.
