A delightful roasted salmon with a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and smoky flavors, topped with fresh herbs and zesty lemon.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as parsley or dill)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Season the salmon fillets skin-side down with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the hot honey generously over the tops of the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Finish with a drizzle of fresh lemon juice and sprinkle fresh herbs on top before serving.

Notes

Try adding garlic to the olive oil for extra flavor or using different types of honey for variations.
