Transform humble cabbage into a flavor-packed side with crispy edges and a golden hue, seasoned with spices.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the cabbage into wedges, creating thick slices.
  3. Combine olive oil, turmeric, cumin seeds, chili powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Brush the mixture generously over the cabbage wedges.
  5. Place the seasoned wedges on a baking sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until crispy and golden.
  7. Serve hot as a side dish or a savory snack.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, pop them back in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
