Enjoy fluffy, perfectly cooked rice in just under 20 minutes using an Instant Pot.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup of rice
  • 1 cup of water or broth
  • 1 tablespoon of oil (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Add the rinsed rice to the Instant Pot along with 1 cup of water or broth, oil, and season with salt.
  3. Seal the Instant Pot by closing the lid and setting the valve to sealing.
  4. Cook the rice by pressing the ‘Rice’ button or setting the Instant Pot to manual high pressure for 3 minutes.
  5. Release the pressure naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  6. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.

Notes

Always rinse your rice for the best texture. Adjust water and cooking time for brown rice accordingly.
