A simple and satisfying baked chicken breast recipe with a crispy exterior and moist, tender inside.

  • 2 pieces chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, and lemon juice until fully combined.
  4. Brush the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of each chicken breast.
  5. Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
  7. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For maximum flavor, let the chicken marinate in the seasoning for a few hours or overnight in the fridge.
