Delightful baked strawberry cheesecake rolls that combine flaky pastry with a creamy filling and fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 275 g cream cheese
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • 200 g strawberries, diced
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg for brushing
  • 1 tbsp milk for brushing
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Make the cream cheese filling by mixing cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, cornstarch, and heavy cream in a bowl until smooth.
  3. Prep the strawberries by washing, hulling, and dicing them.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface until thin.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly on the pastry and top with diced strawberries.
  6. Roll the pastry tightly from one long side and cut into 3 cm thick slices.
  7. Brush each roll with a mixture of egg and milk.
  8. Bake the rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Cool the rolls slightly and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Best served warm, pair with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
