  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 4 ounces Cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese (a blend like mozzarella and cheddar)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Sauté the aromatics: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once shimmering, add in the minced garlic and sauté for about 2 minutes, until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp: Toss in the shrimp, seasoning them lightly with salt and pepper. Cook until they turn pink and opaque—about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  3. Combine the cheesy goodness: In the same skillet, add heavy cream and softened cream cheese. Stir until creamy and combined. Let it simmer until it thickens slightly, then mix in your shredded cheese.
  4. Mix in the shrimp: Gently fold the sautéed shrimp back into the creamy sauce, ensuring every shrimp is coated.
  5. Bake to perfection: Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top. Broil in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  6. Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, and finish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
