A soft, warm keto-friendly naan bread that retains the authentic flavor while being gluten-free and low in carbohydrates.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Coconut flour
  • 2 tablespoons Psyllium husk powder
  • 1 teaspoon Xanthan gum
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 generous pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Nigella and/or sesame seeds (Optional)
  • 1 cup Hot water
  • 1/2 cup Full-fat natural yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons Melted coconut oil or olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Chopped parsley or coriander/cilantro (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine coconut flour, psyllium husk powder, xanthan gum, baking powder, salt, and optional nigella or sesame seeds.
  3. In a separate container, combine hot water, full-fat natural yogurt, and melted coconut or olive oil.
  4. Gradually stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients until a cohesive dough forms.
  5. Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest for a few minutes.
  6. Divide the dough into six equal pieces and roll each piece between two sheets of parchment paper.
  7. Place the rolled dough on a baking tray and bake for 12–15 minutes until slightly browned.
  8. Remove from the oven and serve warm, topped with butter or herbs.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days or freeze for up to a month.
