Delicious Korean BBQ meatballs combining savory and sweet flavors, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or pork
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Additional chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, grated ginger, minced garlic, brown sugar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are fully integrated.
  4. Form the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  5. Arrange the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and slightly crispy.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and remaining chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

These meatballs can be served with rice, in lettuce wraps, or with a dipping sauce. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3 days.
