A quick and flavorful Korean Spicy Chicken Stir Fry filled with colorful vegetables and the fiery kick of gochujang.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet, cooking until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Once the chicken is cooked, add minced garlic and sliced onion. Sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in mixed bell peppers and broccoli florets. Cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Add gochujang and soy sauce, stirring until all ingredients are coated.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.

Notes

Feel free to swap chicken for tofu or shrimp, and adjust spice levels to your taste.
