Decadent chocolate truffles infused with honey and lavender, embodying the essence of spring.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon culinary lavender
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the heavy cream until just boiling.
  2. Remove from heat and add honey and culinary lavender, steeping for 10 minutes.
  3. Strain the lavender and pour cream mixture over chocolate chips in a bowl.
  4. Let it sit for 5 minutes to melt the chocolate.
  5. Stir the melted mixture until smooth.
  6. Refrigerate the mixture for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  7. Use a melon baller or teaspoon to scoop and shape into truffles.
  8. Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or chopped nuts to coat.
  9. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
