Savory-sweet sliders filled with shredded chicken, crunchy bacon, and gooey cheddar, drizzled with maple syrup, perfect for gatherings.

  • 1 pound chicken breast, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 slider buns
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Combine the chicken, bacon, maple syrup, Dijon, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Prepare the slider buns by slicing the bottom halves and placing them in a baking dish.
  5. Fill the buns with the chicken mixture and top with cheddar cheese.
  6. Complete the assembly by covering with the bun tops and brushing with melted butter.
  7. Bake covered with foil for 10 minutes.
  8. Crisp the tops by baking uncovered for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for a quicker prep. Experiment with different cheeses or add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
