A simple yet delicious recipe for tender salmon fillets glazed with a rich maple mixture, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy dinner at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic (around 3 cloves)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare a baking dish by lightly greasing it with olive oil or lining it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  3. Whisk together the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and olive oil in a medium mixing bowl until well blended.
  4. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides. Place them skin-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  5. Pour the maple glaze over the salmon fillets, ensuring they are evenly coated. Reserve some glaze for basting later if desired.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). Baste with the reserved glaze halfway through cooking for added flavor.
  7. Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Serve warm with lemon wedges on the side and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Notes

Pat salmon fillets dry before seasoning for better glaze adhesion. Broil for a minute if a char is preferred.
