Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s nice and ready for the pie.
  2. Combine the chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl until well mixed. Press into a pie pan to form a crust.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  4. Whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Gradually add the melted chocolate, stirring constantly.
  5. Stir in the chopped pecans if using; pour the filling into the prepared crust.
