A comforting and flavorful Mississippi Pot Roast that simmers in a slow cooker, bringing warmth to any rainy day.

Ingredients

  • 34 pounds beef roast
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 packet au jus seasoning mix
  • 1 stick butter
  • 810 pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the beef roast in a slow cooker.
  2. Season generously with ranch and au jus seasoning mixes.
  3. Add the stick of butter on top of the roast.
  4. Place the pepperoncini peppers around the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours until the meat is tender.
  6. Serve shredded meat with sauce over rice, in sandwiches, or with veggies.

Notes

For best results, use a chuck roast and don’t skip the butter for added richness.
