Delightful and chewy M&M cookies that bring nostalgia and sweetness to every occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups M&M candies
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Blend in the vanilla extract, then add the eggs one at a time.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the M&M candies and chopped nuts with a spatula.
  7. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, leaving space in between.
  8. Pop the baking sheets into the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks.

Notes

These cookies pair well with milk or vanilla ice cream. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
