Quick and easy no-bake cookies with a rich chocolate flavor and a chewy texture.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (or a butter substitute)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the sugar and cocoa in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the butter and milk, stirring continuously.
  3. Boil the mixture for about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  4. Mix in oats, vanilla, and salt after removing from heat.
  5. Scoop spoonfuls of the mixture onto parchment paper.
  6. Let the cookies rest for about 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Feel free to add nuts, mini chocolate chips, or spices for a custom touch. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
