Ingredients

  • Dumpling wrappers
  • Ground meat (chicken, pork, or tofu)
  • Chopped vegetables (cabbage, carrots, green onions)
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic, minced
  • Ginger, grated
  • Peanut butter
  • Honey or sugar
  • Lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together your choice of ground meat, chopped vegetables, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger.
  3. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center. Fold and pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Place the assembled dumplings onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In another bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, honey or sugar, lime juice, and water to create a smooth sauce.
  6. Gently brush a bit of your prepared peanut sauce over the dumplings.
  7. Pop the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Serve the dumplings hot, drizzled with extra peanut sauce.

Notes

Ensure dumplings are sealed well to prevent them from opening during baking. Experiment with different fillings like shrimp or a vegetarian mix for variety.
