Deliciously sweet and caramelized oven-roasted carrots glazed with brown sugar and butter, perfect for any meal.

  • 2 pounds of baby carrots or regular carrots, peeled and cut into uniform pieces
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a large baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Combine the melted butter, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Coat the carrots with the brown sugar mixture.
  5. Arrange the glazed carrots in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Roast the carrots for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  7. Check for doneness after 25 minutes; they should be tender yet slightly crisp.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve warm.
