A comforting and crispy Parmesan Chicken recipe inspired by Longhorn Steakhouse, perfect for any occasion.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs (such as oregano and basil)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, dried herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow bowl.
  3. Whisk together the eggs and milk in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast first in the egg mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the chicken breasts for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the seared chicken to a baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  7. Serve hot alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the breadcrumb mixture. You can also swap out Parmesan for cheddar or mozzarella.
