  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups fresh peaches, sliced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup granola (optional)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
  4. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Add the sliced peaches and brown sugar to the skillet, stirring until softened and caramelized.
  6. Layer the egg-soaked bread in a baking dish, then pour the peach mixture on top.
  7. Sprinkle granola over the dish if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm, optionally dusted with powdered sugar.

Notes
