Delightful Peach Dumplings filled with succulent peaches and wrapped in flaky crescent roll dough, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe peaches
  • 1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Take each peach and gently cut a small slit in the side to remove the pit.
  3. Now it’s time to roll! Wrap each peach with crescent roll dough and seal the edges well.
  4. Place the wrapped peaches in a baking dish snugly.
  5. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water, vanilla extract, and cinnamon, then bring to a boil.
  6. Pour the warm mixture over the dumplings in the baking dish.
  7. Dot the top of the dumplings with small pieces of butter.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Once baked, let them rest for a few minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of caramel. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
