A comforting bowl of oatmeal with ripe peaches, brown sugar, and a hint of cinnamon, perfect for a nourishing breakfast.

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk or water
  • 1 ripe peach, diced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine oats and milk (or water) in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes until oats are soft.
  3. Stir in the diced peach, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Cook for an additional minute.
  5. Serve warm, topped with whipped cream if desired.
