Delicious peanut butter granola bars that are perfect for a snack or breakfast on-the-go. Packed with wholesome ingredients and customizable to your taste.

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9 inch baking dish by greasing it lightly.
  2. Combine the rolled oats, chopped nuts, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Heat peanut butter, honey (or maple syrup), brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan over low heat until smooth.
  4. Pour the peanut butter mixture over the oat mixture and stir until evenly combined.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top if desired and gently press them into the mixture.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Cool the granola bars completely in the dish before cutting into bars.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for up to two weeks.
