Warm, cheesy sliders filled with tender steak, sautéed peppers, and onions, making for a delicious crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thinly sliced steak
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
  • 12 dinner rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: mayonnaise or aioli for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the sliced steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  5. Cut the dinner rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  6. Layer the steak mixture on top of the rolls, followed by a sprinkle of shredded provolone cheese.
  7. Place the top halves of the rolls on the cheese.
  8. Bake until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden, about 10-12 minutes.
  9. Serve warm, optionally with mayonnaise or aioli.

Notes

You can customize the sliders with different veggies or cheeses for variety. For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños.
