A simple and delicious Taco Bake made with seasoned beef and melty cheddar cheese, wrapped in flaky crescent rolls—perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked (about 7-10 minutes).
  3. Drain excess fat, then stir in the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Unroll the crescent rolls and lay them in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams together.
  5. Spread the beef mixture evenly over the crescent roll base.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously on top of the beef mixture.
  7. Fold the edges of the crescent rolls over the filling.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm topped with sour cream, green onions, and optional black olives. Pair with salad or tortilla chips.
