A delightful, creamy frosting made with mascarpone cheese and finely ground pistachios, perfect for cakes and cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup finely ground pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (optional for consistency)

Instructions

  1. Beat the softened butter until creamy.
  2. Add the mascarpone cheese and mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until fully incorporated.
  4. Stir in the ground pistachios and vanilla extract.
  5. If the frosting is too thick, add heavy cream a tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  6. Use the frosting to frost layered cakes or cupcakes as desired.
