A warm and gooey cookie pie baked in a skillet, oozing with chocolate chips and perfect for sharing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the wet ingredients in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Combine both mixtures until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased cast-iron skillet.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream on top.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Reheat in a microwave or oven.
