  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 16 ounces pizza dough
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and grease a 9-inch pie dish with a thin layer of olive oil.

  3. Add ground beef, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the pizza sauce and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4-inch thickness and press it into the prepared pie dish.
  6. Spoon the beef and sauce mixture into the dough-lined dish.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the meat mixture, then layer with pepperoni and top with Parmesan.
  8. Fold the overhanging dough edges toward the center for a rustic crust.

  10. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  11. Slice into wedges and serve warm.
