A simple and delicious powdered sugar frosting perfect for cookies, cupcakes, and cakes.

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Combine the powdered sugar and softened butter in a bowl. Mix well until there are no lumps.
  2. Add the vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  4. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the frosting on cookies, cupcakes, or cakes as desired.

Notes

Make sure the butter is softened to room temperature for easier mixing. For a thicker frosting, add less milk; for a thinner consistency, add more milk.
