A refreshing and vibrant raspberry sorbet that captures the essence of summer in every scoop.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Combine water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Puree the raspberries and lemon juice in a blender until smooth.
  4. Strain the mixture through a sieve to remove seeds.
  5. Combine the raspberry puree with the cooled sugar syrup and mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
