A delightful side dish of roasted green beans infused with garlic and topped with Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and trim the ends of the green beans.
  3. Mince the garlic cloves until they are finely chopped.
  4. Toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Spread the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Roast for 15–20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and drizzle with lemon juice.
  8. Toss gently to coat and serve hot.

Notes

Add crushed red pepper flakes for some heat. Use fresh green beans for the best flavor.
