Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Biscuits (homemade or store-bought)

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage over medium heat until browned.
  2. Sprinkle the flour over the sausage and stir to coat, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Whisk in the milk gradually, cooking and stirring until the gravy thickens.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve the gravy over warm biscuits.

Notes

For a creamier texture, use whole milk. Adjust seasoning to taste and feel free to add spices like cayenne for an extra kick.
