  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 bag frozen hashbrowns (about 30 ounces)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Layer the frozen hashbrowns evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the cooked sausage over the hashbrowns.
  5. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Pour over hashbrowns and sausage.
  6. Top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until set and golden brown. Let cool before serving.
