A comforting casserole featuring breakfast sausage, fluffy tater tots, and gooey cheddar cheese, perfect for any meal.

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 bag (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Layer the cooked sausage on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Arrange the tater tots evenly over the sausage.
  5. Whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the tater tots and sausage.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and the egg is set.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
