Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, deveined
  • 1 pound crab, cleaned
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 23 medium potatoes, quartered
  • 2 ears corn, cut into halves
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • Water
  • Salt
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil the water in a large pot, filling it with water and adding a generous amount of salt.
  2. Cook the quartered potatoes for about 10 minutes, allowing them to soften slightly.
  3. Add the corn and sliced sausage, cooking for an additional 5 minutes until the corn begins to brighten.
  4. Incorporate the shrimp, crab, minced garlic, and Cajun seasoning into the pot.
  5. Final cooking for another 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and fragrant.
  6. Drain the pot carefully and serve hot with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a spicier boil, increase the Cajun seasoning or add diced jalapeños. Use fresh seafood for the best flavor, but frozen seafood will also work if necessary.
