A light and delicious dish featuring succulent shrimp, crisp-tender asparagus, and zesty lemon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers gently.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and let it sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden.
  3. Cook the shrimp until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes, until opaque and firm.
  4. Toss in the bite-sized pieces of asparagus and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until bright green and just tender.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon juice, stirring well.
  6. Serve warm with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
