Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 mixture)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Slider buns
  • Cheese slices (American or cheddar)
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion for toppings
  • Pickles (optional)
  • Ketchup and mustard (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a griddle or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into small balls, about 2 ounces each.
  3. Smash the balls down with a spatula on the hot surface.
  4. Season the patties generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until a crust forms on the bottom, then flip with care.
  6. Add a slice of cheese on top as the patties finish cooking.
  7. Toast the slider buns on the griddle until golden and slightly crispy.
  8. Assemble the sliders with your choice of toppings and serve immediately.

Notes
