  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine the base ingredients: In a medium bowl, combine the ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, and soy sauce.
  2. Add the spices: Next, add smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
  3. Whisk to perfection: Whisk all ingredients thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is dissolved.
  4. Marinate the ribs: Place your ribs in a large resealable plastic bag or shallow container and pour the marinade over the ribs.
  5. Seal and chill: Seal the bag or container tightly and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Remove the ribs: When ready to cook, remove the ribs from the marinade, reserving the excess for basting.
  7. Grill or bake: Grill or bake the ribs, basting with the reserved marinade every 15 minutes until cooked through.

Notes

Marinate overnight for maximum flavor infusion. Baste during grilling for moist and flavorful ribs.
