Delightful and nostalgic treats combining buttery caramel with crunchy pecans, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add sugar and heavy cream, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans until coated in caramel.
  6. Spoon spoonfuls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
