Instructions

  1. Start by gathering together your ingredients.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the finely ground cornmeal, salt, and baking powder.
  3. Pour in the water gradually while stirring continuously.
  4. Add vegetable oil or ghee to a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Using a ladle, pour the batter into the hot pan, forming several small pancakes.
  6. Let them cook for about 3 to 4 minutes on one side.
  7. Once cooked, remove them from the skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels.
  8. Serve warm, topped with butter, honey, or maple syrup.
