  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until the mixture starts to boil.
  4. Continue boiling for 5 minutes while stirring constantly.
  5. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and chopped pecans.
  6. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the toffee is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
