Deliciously flaky pastries filled with sweet cream cheese and fresh strawberries, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into squares.
  3. Combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the center of each pastry square and top with strawberries.
  5. Fold the corners of each pastry square over the filling.
  6. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Feel free to swap strawberries for other berries, and use flour liberally to prevent sticking.
