Deliciously warm and buttery bars packed with sweet strawberries and topped with a crunchy crumble.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Combine the flour, rolled oats, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add the melted butter and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form the crust.
  5. Spread the chopped strawberries evenly over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the strawberries.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into bars and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
