  • 1 angel food cake or pound cake, cubed
  • 2 cups vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Layer the Cake: In a large trifle dish or glass bowl, layer half of the cubed cake at the bottom.
  2. Add the Creamy Pudding: Add half of the pudding over the cake, spreading it out gently.
  3. Sprinkle the Berries: Follow with half of the mixed berries, letting them nestle into the pudding.
  4. Repeat the Layers: Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, pudding, and berries.
  5. Top it Off: Top with whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves.
  6. Chill Out: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh, ripe berries. If using pound cake, consider adding lemon zest for added brightness.
