A creamy and savory tilapia dish, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces tilapia fillet
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Pat the tilapia fillets dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sear the tilapia fillets in the skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
  4. Remove the fish and keep it warm.
  5. Sauté the minced garlic in the same skillet for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Add the chicken broth and lemon juice, and let it simmer for about 1 minute.
  7. Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Return the tilapia to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the fillets.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Pairs well with rice, mashed potatoes, or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
