A delightful dessert combining dark, milk, and white chocolate in elegant, layered mousse domes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz dark chocolate, chopped
  • 6 oz milk chocolate, chopped
  • 6 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups heavy cream, divided
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Crisp base or soft sponge for serving

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly. Whip 1 cup of heavy cream to soft peaks and fold in the melted dark chocolate. Spoon the mixture into dome molds and freeze until set.
  2. For the milk chocolate mousse, melt the milk chocolate and allow it to cool. Whip another cup of heavy cream and fold it into the melted milk chocolate mixture. Spoon this into the molds on top of the dark chocolate layer and freeze again.
  3. Repeat the process with the white chocolate for the final layer. Once all layers are set, carefully unmold the domes.

Notes

Serve chilled on a crisp base or soft sponge. Garnish with chocolate shavings, fresh berries, or chocolate sauce.
